From the back cover
Dr. Zack Cato and Tony Durand are engineers who spend their spare time investigating conspiracies and the weird things in our world. A weekend at a desert festival in the shadow of Area 51 was supposed to be beer, bad alien jokes, and a break from the lab.
Then something got loose in the dark.
With no weapons and no training, Zack and Tony fall in with a pair of local ranchers and some hard-partying acquaintances.
To survive, they'll need every hack, every improvised weapon, and an ally stranger than anything they've ever imagined.
